Dam: Am/Can Schmidts Midnight at Heart Acres "Bubbles"
Hera is named after Zeus’ wife and the mother of the Greek gods in ancient mythology. Her sire was ranked the #5 boxer in 2002 and a BISS winner, her dam was ranked #18 in 2003. We were lucky enough to purchase this puppy from Jim and Priscilla Kilman of Heart Acres boxers and Julie Schmidt of Schmidt boxers. She has such a fiery little attitude, Hera has no problem taking on our two older and much larger boxers.
Hera will not be entering the show ring but she will not be leaving our home. She has wiggled her way into our hearts and we can't bear to part with her. She is a welcome addition to our family and adds endless laughs with her tireless antics!
Sadly Hera passed away suddenly on July 2nd, 2010. She played to the very end and will be deeply missed. She was an important member of our small family and can not be replaced. RIP our dear sweet Hera.
